There were so many unknown soldier tombstones at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. This post is for them.

I don't know why I didn't know there are Unknowns at Jefferson Barracks. Only makes sense, but I did not know.

I have been there many times but only this time noticed them too. And there were so many. They are in the older section (of course) but there are tons of them and some have different types of markers which I found interesting as well. I also liked that someone had left flowers on one (not me). It was a very simple, yet generous and kind gesture.

That is nice that someone honored one of those men who gave their lives without being formally acknowledged. I need to have my daughter talk to you for sure. She is studying to be a teacher and she just loves photography. I think she'd gleen alot of useful info from you. She is pretty good in the "taking pictures" dept. too. She comes up with some interesting perspectives, which I know is half the battle in photography.
